Bumble Bee Blinds — Baseball Dugout

This large-scale environmental branding project was designed for a local baseball dugout in Michigan. The goal was to translate Bumble Bee Blinds’ bold brand presence into a physical, highly visible community space—creating an eye-catching installation that feels playful, approachable, and unmistakably local. Due to the unique proportions of the dugout, the design was conceived as a multi-surface system spanning three walls. Bee trails were used as a unifying visuals, guiding the viewer’s eye across the structure and creating cohesion between each side.

Strategy & Design Approach The visual system was inspired by Bumble Bee Blinds’ existing brand language, particularly the vibrant colors. Key brand elements—including the logo, buzzing bees, and service offerings—were placed for long-distance visibility and quick readability. Execution The artwork was designed to be projected directly onto the dugout walls and later hand-painted on site. To support this process, the design accounted for real-world constraints such as surface texture, scale, and viewing distance. Outcome The final installation delivers a high-impact, playful brand presence that feels integrated into the local community. This project highlights the ability to adapt brand systems beyond traditional media and into physical, real-world environments—bridging strategy, design, and execution.
